Managing Users

You can add various user profiles, depending on their role within the system, and then assign specific roles to them. Users information is available only within their System or Tenant organizations.

Note

If not yet added, you must first add at least one role.

To manage users, click on System Administration, then click on Security view and Users tab.

Adding a User

  1. On the Actions ribbon, click Add User.
  2. In the General section configure User Info.

User Info

  • First Name, Last Name - user first and last name
  • Notification E-mail - the E-mail address to send notifications to
  • User Name - user account name
  • Password - provide password.
  • Confirm Password - confirm provided password.
  1. Click on Address configure:

  • Office Phone, Mobile Phone - user contact information
  • Street, ZIP, City, Country, State - user address
  1. Click on Roles configure:

  1. To add a role to user, click on Add Role, select one or more roles from the list and click on OK.

Note

If a user is logged into the System Organization, one cannot see the Tenant Administrator role. If a user is logged into a Tenant Organization, System Administrator and Infrastructure Administrator roles are not available.

  1. Click on OK.

Editing a User

  1. Select a user in the Users grid.
  2. On the Actions ribbon, click on Edit User.
  3. Edit required settings.

Note

Notification E-mail and User Name are not editable.

  1. Click on OK.

Deleting a User

  1. Select a user in the Users grid.
  2. On the Actions ribbon, click on Delete User.
  3. Click on Yes in the confirmation dialog.

Assigning Roles to a User

  1. Select a user in the Users grid.
  2. On the Actions ribbon, click on *Assign Roles.
  3. Select one or more roles in Roles dialog.

Note

If a user is logged into the System Organization, one cannot see the Tenant Administrator role. If a user is logged into a Tenant Organization, System Administrator and Infrastructure Administrator roles are not available.

  1. Click on OK.
